Your weapon changes the cards granted by one equipment hand. Acquired cards and penalties enter the discard pile first, then join the deck when it is reshuffled.

Start with a change to your character. Switch on an option to see what happens.
Real cards, with unmodified Brute values. One equipment hand and selected conditions — not a full deck or an opening hand. Select a card to enlarge it.
CARDS + THE PASSAGE OF TIME
Your next move
costs time, too.
Playing and discarding cards moves your journey forward. Deck cycles mark the passage of time — bringing hunger, thirst and fatigue. Even your torch burns down.
FOLLOW THE IN-GAME RECORDING.
Recorded in-game under prepared conditions, close to the thirst threshold. Not every cycle adds a penalty. No audio.
EXPLORATION + ENCOUNTERS
Find a way forward.
Face what awaits.
Leave your cell, explore rooms and face encounters. Each run creates a new underground world that persists throughout your journey.
Ratmen, batmen and frogmen inhabit the depths. You are not the only one trying to survive here.
